Testing or Playing?

It's been a gloomy all day but I decided to test out the legs with a quick outing to Bingley on the bus for potatoes.  Back home, Ian from the local door and window company had successfully fixed the front door which has been secured with sash jammers for several days after the locking system failed.

Tony has been building his motorised Christmas Lego present in recent days.  A bit early, I hear you saying, but his thinking was it was best to try it out before the arrival of Euan after Christmas in case it didn't work.  I guess we are both from the generation of toys without batteries included or presents which didn't work!  Either that or it was the joy of running a train!
After a couple of building hiccups and a temporary lack of bluetooth connection, it does now work and will be rebuilt downstairs prior to the arrival of Euan and his family.

It's a good job our original plans to visit Jen and Pete this weekend have been rearranged for the New Year as I think our winter bugs would have forced us to cancel.  We'll see them both at Christmas anyway.  Now for some catching up.
