New on the block
Meet Jack. He was a rescue dog because his owner went into a nursing home. Now he lives with Derek in our village.
Apart from being slightly on the tubby side, he is a perfect pooch. He sleeps downstairs, never jumps on the furniture and loves people and other dogs. I wonder if his owner knows what happened to him.
Derek goes out a lot with his camera and Jack accompanies him.
I went to bed at midnight and did not wake until 0925. Oh dear, this was not a good start to the day!
I called at the shop for eggs, then visited Vicky, a new neighbour, who needed help to send some official documents by email so that Scottish Power would believe she has moved house! Her email is set up on a very odd way and I will have to try to fix that in the future. Today, it was enough to download, rename and send the attachments.
Then a quick shop so that I have the ingredients for a potato salad for a party on Monday.
I went to see Margret and the car park entry machine would not recognise my ticket. The only difference from yesterday is that I had the car washed!!
Margret was on good form. I left when more visitors arrived.
