Derelict boat
It was dark as I left the house this morning. As I had cancelled a service appointment for the car on the day of the recent storm the only one available was at 8.00am. I arrived at 7.30am not knowing what the traffic would be like. It was a very cold day with a bitter wind but I was dressed well and decided to walk into Exeter via the canal which is where two derelict boats are moored. So they are today's blip.
I spent a couple of hours shopping, had a coffee and then returned by bus to take the car back home. It was a busy afternoon as I cooked tea very early so that when we returned from the early showing at the local film club I could have a quick meal and then go on to the local camera club. All went well, the film was fairly entertaining - The Innocent, a French film concerning a robbery of caviar, and I arrived at the camera club before it started.
