A dull day

Dibble the cat attacked the small wooden Christmas tree placed beside the fire which I had tastefully decorated with a string of LED lights.  I was distracted by watching TV when I heard a clatter and looked round to see the tree and lights being dragged away out the room.  Surprisingly the lights still work, what's left of them, but about 18 inches have been broken off.  He is sleeping the sleep of the innocent.
Other than that, it was cold and dull all day.
