Lacecap Hydrangea
The slowly decaying petals on the Lacecap Hydrangea in the garden taken today against a black background using my phone camera. Looking out of the window at the whole of the hydrangea, it looks untidy and uniformy dull. The detail though reveals a hidden beauty, even as the Winter Solstice draws near. This image reminded me of the way that photography can expand our visual perception and help us to see nature in a different light.
