Growing up

After Jen’s Dad sat on Kara’s bed the other week and snapped it in half (a 40kg weight limit was never going to survive!). Had to quickly scramble to order a new bed and Kara has had a mattress on the floor while we waited. All set up now in the big bed now. She loves it. Just hope she doesn’t roll out. It’s a lot higher up now.

Bit of an end of an era for the old bed. Kara had been in it since she was a few weeks old. It started life as a cot with sides and a higher mattress level. As she started to sit up and stand up you could lower the mattress. When she looked like she might want to flip over the sides one side came down. Each change a milestone. Had been thinking we’d need a new bed maybe next year but obviously needed to act a bit quicker!
