Pete

I met Pete in the early thousands. The first time I distinctly remember us being together was when I had dinner with him and his partner, Cathy, at the home of our friends Chris and Janice, in 2002.

Over the years, I've enjoyed many nights out with him, usually after school events, enjoying pizza and beers in The Royal.

He's taught all of my kids, I think, ostensibly Religion, Philiosphy, and Ethics, but with a serious emphasis on the latter two. They all think he's amazing.

He retired from teaching a couple of years ago and promptly took up amateur dramatics. Tonight we say him in the Silverdale Players' pantomime.

He was fantastic. I cannot imagine being that comfortable on stage and simply enjoying performing that much.

Entirely comfortable on stage and clearly loving every minute.
