The Christmas window
In the conservation area. I walked to work and stayed in the office all day on my own, then took off an hour early to see the film Conclave, starring Ralph Fiennes. Set in Rome, and based on a book by Robert Harris, it concerns the electing of a new pope from among the college of Cardinals. The cinematography is spectacular, and the plot is riveting. I did enjoy the time off and the pleasure of getting lost in another world.
Walked to Waitrose to pick up a parcel. The Nailsworth Silver Band was playing carols outside the store. It was beautiful. Carried the stuff home and found that the workmen haven't quite finished our roof. That's ok because I have a free morning tomorrow. I'm going to take the bus across the common to Nailsworth, have a coffee and check out the charity shops before meeting some friends for lunch.
PS I've caught up with a few missing blips from 24 th Nov onwards. Some days will be forever lost to the headaches, though. That's how it was, and my phone storage is full up.
