Christmas Tree Festival

We visited the Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival today, there were 159 trees decorated by local schools, businesses & charities. We were charged £1 for 3 tokens to use to vote for our favourite 3 trees. I voted for our grandchildren’s school tree & also the trees decorated by the neonatal unit our daughter works closely with & a charity that is funding a high tech resuscitation aid for her department.
We had lunch in the cathedral cafe, I think the others enjoyed theirs but my choice wasn’t great.
We took J back then came home & lit the fire. DnR went out to meet friends for a meal & I went to camera club.
