Lanzarote Day 4

A day of two halves in Lanzarote for us today. This morning we went to look at the Cesar Manrique Foundation based in the house he built in volcanic bubbles. It was a fascinating place, preserved like a bit of 1970s frozen in that time. There was lots of his art on show and video and articles showing how he highlighted the impact of the commercialisation of Lanzarote. 

 This afternoon we took a three hour buggy tour. This was guided but we drove our own buggy in a group of five. The route was about 70% off-road and great fun to drive. One of the buggys got a puncture so we all helped out changing the wheel. No one photo could show the whole thing so we've blipped a little montage.
