(343) Against All Odds
We have had a two-night stay in Glasgow arranged for months but, having succumbed to some sort of viral unpleasantness, I wasn't sure that I'd be fit for the trip. In the event, by Sunday morning I did feel well enough to go ahead with our trip, though we decided to drive instead of go by bus, for reasons of comfort and flexibility. Today's blip is from the walk from the car park to our hotel, passing the Christmas attractions in George Square. The sky was very clear (hence the very cold conditions) and I wondered if I could capture the half moon in the same frame as the top of the 80 metre 'freefall' drop tower ride, using my phone camera.
Turns out I can.
