(346) Above The Clouds
A very cold morning here with low lying cloud rendering everything in shades of grey. However, 100 metres above ground level, the sun is sun is shining and the sky is blue!
We've had an impressive temperature inversion today and the differences in temperature, cloud cover, and the available views, have been fascinating to experience. The flying camera comes into its own in this sort of situation, being able to very quickly provide information that can be used to plan a route, destination etc. The main blip was taken from 100 metres directly above my fog-bound front garden, and was all I needed to plan a drive up to East Lomond Hill, which I could see was completely clear of cloud, and lit by bright sunshine.
Video from today's outing is on YouTube.
Musical connection, from one of my earliest favourite albums, is here.
