Retirement Dinner

I wrote a song for my dad's retirement. It's an intentionally cheesy rock song where work and retirement are long hard roads, or cars, or something. It goes like this:

It's been a long, long track
From Walton pier, hell and back
Waltzing with the horses
Schmaltzing at the courses
I learned to clean the tack

Chorus:
I'm retired
I'm free of my load
Got my tread together
Rubber proofed for weather
Retirements a long old road

I have done my time
Factory life is not a crime
Wardle was the storey
The store it was my glory!
I kept it free from grime
