Homewards
We headed back home today, taking two trains and a bus. I love the public transport system here, its reliable, cheap and pretty accessible (the intercity trains that run between the big cities aren't as easy to board if you have a pushchair with you but there are often people to ask for help). We took our time, made a few detours and got home whilst it was still light. We had to wait for the bus in Woerden and as we were walking up to the bus stop we saw this bicycle covered in fake grass. We had a good look at it and Little Man had to check it out to see what it was.
When we got home, Little Man spent about forty five minutes outside in the garden, playing. He did need a clean when he came in, but I decided to let him have fun and stretch his legs. Boys need to be able to get muddy. I witnessed it with my brother, Caleb, who was always outside, when he wasn't confined to the classroom.
We had a quiet afternoon. Well, beyond the small amount of housework that needed doing; mainly laundry and unpacking. When we walked in, I could feel that the fire had been out for a few days. It's very easy to use, though it can be a hassle getting it going when I'm in a rush.
