Got the train to Dundee, going through thick fog and then glorious sunshine bt always with a thick frost. It was beautifully sunny but bitterly cold. Had coffee at the v and a when I arrived and then walked to the mcmanus gallery to look at their exhibition’A Weather Eye’ Thank you Winsford. Had some lunch at the v and a - delicious cake- and then went into the Kimono exhibition. Really enjoyed it- lots of beautiful exhibits and very well curated. Had a cup of tea in the cafe afterwards and watched the amazing su set through the windows there. It was stunningly beautiful.
Walked across the road to get the train back to Edinburgh, met D and went The Table for a delicious tasting menu. Thank you to D and T. Food was delicious and the two chefs were very chatty. Enjoyed seeing them do all the prep and even the clearing up!
