Better

The morning was beautifully sunny after a hard frost, so it was a very pretty walk around the Estate with Django (see extra). I worked at home until lunchtime, and then went in to have a discussion with PhD student B, after I'd studied his recent work. What he's implemented isn't the silver bullet that I'd hoped for, but it's a great exercise for him.

When I got back, I did a bit more work, before watching the uninspiring first half of United's match. I paused it to cook, and then enjoyed the second half. With A out to dinner with a friend, I walked Django in the evening, but cut the outing a few minutes short so that I could get back to watch the last 15 minutes of the exciting game at Ibrox. 

After that, I soon spotted the error in the code of the incompetent folk we were talking to last night, and was careful to let them know what was wrong, and imply that they should have done a lot better.
