Persi's 1st birthday

Persi is more or less 1 year old today. Can't be 100% sure because her mother was a stray and she was found behind a dumpster. Anyway, I thought a candle in her cat food would be fun. However it wasn't fun for her as she singed her whiskers in the candle flame. So I decided to just hold the candle in the picture instead. Persi is sticking her tongue out at me, perhaps because she didn't like the candle idea?
