Bulbs

Four years of neglecting our garden has taken its toll and it looks appalling. However, I have found a new, energetic, skilful, enthusiastic, reliable, strong, friendly man who has blitzed the area. It is a transformation to behold. He has also replanted all our labour intensive pots of bulbs into the new beds. Today he planted a further 90 bulbs which I had ordered. Here we see those wonderful hands with some of the 50 crocus bulbs that were soon swallowed up by the autumn earth. A further 30 tulips and 10 iris bulbs and we are ready for Spring. I might be waxing a little too enthusiastically but it is such a marvellous change, I just sit and stare.
