Deep in the glens….

still snowy here and an icy wind blowing from the west ensured it was not going to thaw any time soon! However, did see two Buzzards, two Ravens, two Eagles and six Partridge. Only managed a shot of the Partridge! On the road was startled when four red hinds shot across and dived under the ‘deer proof’ fence and up into the wood. It looks to be a well used entry! Back home, everywhere was dripping , as the four days hard hoar frost began to melt! Chopped two buckets of logs and kept warm.
