Festive

An eventful day today. Four tree surgeons rolled up to remove a colossal fir leylandii tree which had outgrown its surroundings. We thought we might feel a bit exposed without it but it’s fine. 
Then my car wouldn’t start. 
It has died,  completely unresponsive. 
The RAC are apparently very busy and can’t get out to it until tomorrow now. 
As that tree was being cut down I brought our Christmas tree in and it’s now decorated.
It’s the Village Hall Christmas party later, THE social event of the year 
Oh yes and it’s my four thousandth blip.
So we’re feeling a tiny bit festive now!
