Multnomah Falls
Portland, Day 17: As our visit is almost over, we are taking some time to be tourists. I grew up in the Portland area but this is the first time Girly has been to Multnomah Falls. Quite a warm day here so the spray from the waterfalls felt lovely. We saw four different falls but this is the most famous.
Multnomah Falls is the second-tallest year-round waterfall in the nation. The water of the Falls drops 620 feet from its origin on Larch Mountain. Unusually cold weather can freeze the plummeting water into a majestic icesicle.
