Sheltering in the Bay
These were but a few of the fishing boats that had anchored in the calmer waters of the Bay today. The wind was gale force for much of the day, making conditions dangerous for fishing. The sea where we live , outside the Bay has been very rough.
I visited my friend D today whose condition is deteriorating rapidly. She had been very restless and in severe pain so the palliative care sister came to start a morphine drip. What can one do except hug, and hold the hand of a dear friend whose life is coming to an end.
