Christmas Tree

Children and teachers in Iðavöllur had the annual Christmas Ball (or Christmas assembly?) in the big hall today. 


We sang Christmas songs and danced while one of the fathers in our school  played guitar and ukulele and directed the singing. Two Yule Lads (Icelandic Santas), Stekkjastaur and Giljagaur, joined us and then gave every child a book before they left.
