Tree's up, Mother Brown

The tree is up, so Christmas has officially started in this household.  We've only put the little one up this year; normally we have a big one which W decorates but following her surgery last week she would still have found reaching up to add baubles etc. a little difficult.  We did consider the alternative which was me decorating the tree, but I think the considered opinion was that it might end up looking a bit like those photos people put on social media of their tree after the cat got to it.  And we don't have a cat.  So the little one it is.

We've got a few other decorations and lights around the house so it is all looking quite tasteful.  Time to open the first chocolates, I think.
