Small Stitches

Elaine always brings a knitting project when she comes to stay, usually baby blankets.
But this week she is knitting tiny cardigans for premature babies  to send to the prem baby unit in Leeds.
They look a little larger than dolls clothes.
There is a call out to knit them so they have a good supply over the Christmas period.
She says it’s a good way to use up odds and ends of wool.
I am letting her raid my my button tin to finish them off.

Earlier we went over to Hebden Bridge as l had a voucher to collect that l had ordered online at a restaurant there ( you couldn’t have them sent through the post). While there we had a quick festive sandwich called a Nutcracker which contained brie, cranberry, crushed pistachio and rocket all in toasted focaccia, good?- it was very good!

There is a very good butcher there so l bought some festive sausages ( bit of theme here) which contained cranberry and rosemary, will be having those with some mash later for supper.

Quick turn around and home, six out of six buses, all on time.
