Pool shenanigans

My first job for the day was to collect the braai vleis. Had to wait a bit as I was a bit early but Eric at Berliner kept me entertained with a bunch of young customers looking for T-Bone Steaks. Twenty four in all, and each one at a hefty 1.2kg. Thankfully that wasn’t my order or my bill to pay.

Fast forward a few hours, the meat transported, Arnie and I got into the truck to deliver a wheelchair on our way to John and Angie’s. It measured a whopping 48 degrees inside the truck.

Thankfully J&A have a long covered veranda but it was still hot. The crew enjoyed their year end bash and we had fun.

So glad it’s the weekend.

Oh, and Humairaa added an extra Christmas gift for me. A full back massage as the others enjoyed their time in the pool. Heaven!

I think I will sleep very well tonight!
