We All Want a Leaf-Sweeper…

I was off out to the Optician.
‘Please can you help me to see in the dark?’.. (‘Sorry. No can do. Try taking eye drops for dry eyes’.
Ok. I can do that).

I’ve spent the afternoon trying to write Christmas cards. (I am one of the dinosaurs that still does such a thing). I’m also writing cards on behalf of the Number One Elderly One.
‘HOW much is a stamp?? Really??’).

I have just spoken to the above said Elderly One.
‘Are you ready for bed?’
‘No. There isn’t a bed here anyway’.
Me :’Look to your left. What can you see? I think you’ll see a bed?’

‘No. It’s a plough’.

Ok! Don’t try to sleep in that then.

Fortunately it’s Friday night.
No chips here though… Too many chips on various outings and in Vienna. (I have become a Chip In Human Form).
Spinach is what is on offer here. And Welcome it is!

The wine forecast however…
