Blip Advent Calendar - Day 13!

Open up window 13 to see the Christmas lights on offer in the town centre of Halifax. They're not my favourite, however, I do like the warming golden glow they give off. This was particularly true this morning when it was rather chilly and damp on my morning commute. It was beautifully peaceful and quiet, although some might say eerie. 

It's been another festive filled day at school with singing carols and Christmas songs on the playground before the Christmas Fair after school.

Today's quote, inspired by the festive lights, is the words of Brent Brown.  
"Twinkle lights are the perfect metaphor for joy. Joy is not a constant. It comes to us in moments - often ordinary moments. Sometimes we miss out on bursts of joy because we're too busy chasing down extraordinary moments. Other time were so afraid of the dark that we don't dare let ourselves enjoy the light. A joyful life is made up of joyful moments gracefully strung together by gratitude, inspiration and faith."
