Unsung Hero Yorkshire - for pickleboard

A day of chores. The highlight was receiving a message from my Uni friend, whose dad featured on TV Look North.  He has been successfully nominated for Unsung Hero Yorkshire  - Sports Personality of the Year 2024. I was able to watch on IPlayer catchup as we don't get Look North down in east anglia. He is a keen Picleboard player and since lockdown has been running more than 4 sessions per week for lots of people of all abilities in York,  where he lives.

My friend Lynn is justifiably very proud of her 83 year old dad. She now has high hopes that he is successful in the national competition of Sports Personality of the Year being transmitted on Tuesday this week.
