The backstreets of Bolton on a grey day...

....can hold surprises!

This morning we were up early as we had to be in the garage by 8am!  Our car needed four new tyres and they realign and valet the car.  We arrived before it opened and then after leaving the car we went off into town to the Costa in what used to be the Debenham's area which has been taken over by Primark - at least on one floor.  Ro had breakfast and I had a hot chocolate.  We were in no hurry.  Everything other than Costa was closed!  Then we looked for a warm cardigan type of top for me but found nothing !  Walked to the main square and had a quick look in WH.Smith's that is about to close and a few charity shops.  finally we went back to the garage by 11ish, paid etc and the car was ready.  back via Lidl for fruit and home exhausted! 

Working through all the Christmas emails and having received answers must work through those tomorrow!  

Ro helped me find a workaround for getting photos from my iPhone into the computer and lightroom.  Was able to do that for the above.

Off to bed!

Can't find out anything about this piece of street art!  Ro has just told me that it is the back of a record shop called ‘X’!   They sell second hand records etc.
