Atlas

This picture wasn’t taken today but I have to share this story. Many of you know my love for huskies ( Frank). Atlas belongs to Johnnys 80 something yo uncle who lives across our pond. Busby will not allow him in our yard but he sits on the pond levy and watches. Occasionally he sings to us. :—)) A couple of years ago he went missing right around this time of year. He was found about 36 miles away. At the time, we thought he was abducted and had escaped. Kind people found him. He’s obviously not a stray.
This week, he went missing again. The next evening, Uncle let me reach out to Facebook. He was located within the hour about 10 or so miles from his last adventure! He was 25-26 miles away!! He showed up to kind lady’s home and she posted him as a lost dog. A friend saw it and put us in touch. We retrieved him at about 10PM! Just wondering if maybe the cold air gives him wanderlust or if someone is taking him. Just glad the beautiful, sweet knuckle head is home!
