Scruff.

You can generally recognize an emergency blip by the bird table, and since it was hissing down with rain I wasn't too keen to go out searching for anything better. We had a handful of herring gulls here today but this bedraggled bruiser was "king of the castle."

It will probably be a few days before I post any more entries as I am going to be assisting with the LEL (London-Edinburgh-London) Audax. More of that when I come back but, be prepared to be gob-smacked unless you're a cyclist.
