(Bottom L-R) Eva, Daddy, Uncle Andrew and Auntie Katie

(N.B- Daddy and Uncle Andrew don't have moobs, its a bike t-shirt)

All made and styled by Toby this morning whilst Mr EG did a pub ride on his bike. Given out to each individual so they could eat themselves at a BBQ at Uncle Andrew and Auntie Katie's this afternoon.

Not been in a blipping mood recently. Poor little Eva fell off our bed on Tuesday night. She cried a lot but seemed fine. It happened so fast - I'm not really sure how it happened even now. Toby was on the bed with her and both me and Mr EG were there but couldn't get her in time. I think Toby may have pulled the duvet out from under her and she toppled backwards. I feel so guilty though.

Anyway I noticed she wasn't holding her arm quite right and although she's been all laughy and smiley I thought it best to get it checked out. After 2 trips to the drop in centre and a trip to A&E I was horrified to be told she had broken her arm. Two nurses and two doctors had said prior to the x-ray that they thought she was okay but to x-ray as a precaution. Other than not wanting to put her full weight on it, she isn't really showing any symptoms and doesn't seem to be in much pain with it.

Because the break is high up, they can't put it in a cast so we just have to try and keep it as still as possible and take her back in two weeks. I was just in floods of tears at the hospital especially when they started to talk about safeguarding etc. Anyway the bone doctor came down and looked at the x-ray and said he was happy the break was consistent with the accident I had described and they checked her all over and obviously didn't find anything else so they said they were happy to let us go. I know its routine and they have to check but I just went into overdrive and it was such a horrible experience. I feel guilty enough that I let harm come to my precious little girl as it is. I thought Mr EG was sat on the bed with her too. He thought I was watching her. It was just so so stupid :0( Got a massive lump in my throat thinking about it now. A very painful lesson learnt.
