Hot and blustery day

Up early for the cooler part of day, garden tidied and pulled out some of the red poppies that were getting past it.  A few left in for the seed heads and some watering before the heat arrived.  Going into CBD this afternoon the car thermistor recorded 33C, I know it does pick up some heat from road but even so was still hot.  The wind picked up and the temperature soon dropped.
Coming home the clouds were interesting, a quick trip to Halswell Quarry and walked up to lookout, soon found it was still hot.
