First Prize

We woke to a much calmer day. I went out for a quick walk just to check on the weather, and deemed it was ok for a run. The rain had stopped, it was much brighter, and the wind had dropped a bit. Once back home, I got myself ready and dragged myself out for a run. It was quite pleasant, apart from when I was running into the wind. Another six miles done, and I was glad I got myself out.

After lunch TT and I went over to North Berwick for a walk. We did our usual circuit, down through the Glen, along the beach, with a wander through town. Disappointingly the Christmas lights weren’t on. One street had an advent window display. We popped into a couple of shops and made a couple of purchases, before going to do a supermarket shop. Driving home in the dark, it felt like it was the middle of the night.

TT made fish pie for tea, then I made my cake. We had a quiet evening.
