Tree Decoration

I like to blip a tree decoration each year. I've chosen the elephant for 2024. Although I would thoroughly dislike to see a real elephant in a Santa hat and performing for an audience I rather like this one. I've had him/her for decades. 

I've been out to see if I could spot, and blip, the December full moon but it's too cloudy now. I don't think I'll see it or the meteor shower.  I could be lucky with the moon tomorrow morning. I'll see.  I saw a pair of bullfinches but my photographs weren't very good. 

I did a lot of baking this morning and the gingerbread fell in the middle. I've had this problem before. It could be my gf flour (though it usually works) or perhaps too much raising agent. A bit disappointing but it tastes ok. 

I've walked more today than the past two days put together. That's not saying much really because the past two days put together resulted in a shocking step count.
