Christmas festivities - lunching ladies

Today I met up with friend Lyn, who lives on the same estate as I do, her husband drove us into Bury & we took the tram into Manchester, to meet up with other friends for an christmas get together.

It was so nice to get dressed up, put a little make up on……in our whatsapp group it was indicated that a bit of sparkle should be included in our outfits!

I had to make a quick dash out to buy an appropriate top, as I didn’t own anything suitable. No changing rooms so had to buy 3 tops I thought I might like, then return the surplus 2 within 100 days :-/. i was very happy with my choice .

We had drinks & cocktails in the lawn club, then moved on to Revolution de Cuba before taking up our booked table in Albert Schloss :-)

It was unbelievably noisy, live music, lots of office xmas get togethers, we were not that quiet, shouting to communicate.

Eventually called it a day about 8pm, I wasn’t drinking, stuck to water, but I did end up with a banging head, from all the noise & shouting!

This is when you’re reminded of your age lol
