Great Egret

Sis and I headed out for lunch today. She has been trapped in the house for two weeks with an awful cold and flu and was going slightly stir crazy.
After eating we headed out to a local reserve and sat waiting for a bittern that had been showing recently. Alas, no bittern but just before we headed back to the car this great egret arrived. Took a load of absolutely hopeless shots of it in flight. This was the first one in focus, just after it landed !!!!
