It has been a really cold wintry day but with lovely sunshine and blue skies  for a while earlier on. We went out for a walk late this afternoon to deliver some cards locally just as the sun was setting. 

In between watching football (Leeds drew 1-1 away at Preston) and doing various other jobs around the house I have been attempting to paint a canvas to go in our newly decorated spare room. I had seen a picture I liked on-line and am trying to re-create it on a blank canvas which has been in our loft for a few years. There is a lot to do yet, but if it doesn’t work out we haven’t lost anything as I have been using match pots which we already had from various decorating jobs!
