We're Getting There

I assembled the tree this afternoon. In its 16th year it's starting to shed as much as a real tree now. I realised that I'd bought some new lights in the post Christmas sales last year. There are rather a lot of them, there isn't going to be much room on the tree for anything else. That's mrsfb's job anyway but she has been busy writing cards today. I wrote my three cards too. 

In one of my past lives I used to travel to Norway every year in December to take our biggest customer out for their Christmas meal. We usually had reindeer. These window lights were everywhere, but you didn't see them at all over here in those days.

This is still going well. It was a good buy.
I'm nothing if not consistent. As well as doing the tree on the same day this year I also managed to light the pilot light on the gas stove.

Also while writing the cards I realised that I haven't got a card for mrsfb yet so had a look on Amazon. I saw one I thought would be ideal and was about to order it when I saw 'last purchased in December 2023'. I was only going give her the same card as last year!
