Not too bright

The problem with weekends currently is that the workmen go home... that means I get to do some of the decorating! chiz chiz. 

I rather overdid it today, finishing the white emulsion on top of white plaster coat - and in the bright sunshine that should really have had me out for a last motorcycle ride of the year. I ended up with a snow-blind headache and a back to go with it. Ah well, it's getting there.

As a reckless addition I mounted the tree (no, you fools, I mean I planted it in the tree holder!) and got the lights and decorations out.  However, Janet determined that the lights were too bright, so currently the tree is a very pleasant smelling tree but sans decor.

An early night, I think, ready for more fun tomorrow.
