Saturday on Exmoor

A phone call from Sue, finished up with me joining her for a drive out over the moor. First port of call was Porlock Weir, where we had a coffee at the little cafe, I indulged in a lovely piece of apple cake.

From there we drove up through Horner woods, and out on to Exmoor. We saw a small group of deer, too far away for a good image. As we headed towards our usual route home we came across some Exmoor ponies with this seasons foals, now fending for themselves. A lovely trip out. Thank you Sue, made me feel a lot better. :-)

Home in time to organise dinner and watch the Strictly Final. No surprise at the result. But what a fantastic series it has been this year :-)
