Caña Club Christmas Picnic

We spent the morning making Christmas sarnies for the Caña Club picnic - chicken, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Usually we host a day and night long feast at ours, but it felt too much this year. We decorated The Tree with tinsel, disco balls and stars. Everyone brought food and drink and a little secret santa gift. It was a lot of fun. Thankfully the weather was good. We also took nail varnishes to paint stones, hence the extra.
As we drove home we saw the full moon so jumped out at Claire's beach to get a pic.
One of the homeless guys dropped by with 2 bags of washing. He's happy as he's just got a bed in one of the refuges here... In the bed next our friend Ricky!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A beautiful day with friends - I was really pleased Mitch came along as well.
2) Another lovely time at The Tree.
3) Nate letting me put Vicks on his feet tonight. His cough is ramping up and he's never let me put stuff on his feet before as it feels too weird. As he's getting older he's easier to reason with, phew!
