Funfair

It was so lovely to see the sun today. I was up very early writing Christmas cards and then l caught an early train into Exeter. I was on a mission to find some shoes for the wedding next week. Fortunately the shop had my eyes on had a suitable pair and even better as had spotted they were 30% off on the website yesterday the shop honoured the reduction. They said it would take effect on the Monday in the store.

I continued shopping with the growing numbers and then found a quiet cafe for a coffee and before heading back to the station. I was early for the train so had a walk around northern hay gardens where various funfair rides had been installed. The merry go round in the background was in full operation.

I returned home for lunch and spent the afternoon finishing the cards and had a long chat with a friend l meant to speak to last week. So nice to see the sun all day.
