Every Grave Tells a Story

I visited two local graveyards today and took the opportunities to use a couple of my 'alternative' lenses. On one site I used the 50mm 7Artizans - with delicious bokeh - and in the other (this one) I used my 85mm Lensbaby Velvet.
These do make life a little more challenging with their manual focus but are a joy to handle.
This cross is in Great Missenden old churchyard - full of interesting gravestones angled at variance to each other as a result of the soil shift and overgrown foliage; there will be a carpet of snowdrops here in a couple of months.
With no inscription on the stone one can only guess at the story this person has left behind.  I took our 'new' electric car out which is a dream to drive - smooth and effortless.
Another Christmas meal this evening for John's climbing club gathering - lovely food and interesting company.
