Day did not turned out as planned

The plan for today was I was leaving work a little early for a wedding. I was going with mom, since dad has a low immune system and my husband is away. All that changed when I got a call from my sister telling me mom had an accident. She was outside on the driveway and fractured her hip along with some very nasty bruises. I met them at the hospital at the emergency room . Mom looked horrible and my  father was beside himself.
I stayed with her overnight, dad went to my sister’s to sleep. We waited until 6:30 am the next morning by the time they had a room for her.  They took her into surgery around 10pm.
My blip was taken in the morning before I left the house.
