Rich Pickings

There's a lot of seaweed at the Joppa end of the Prom at the moment, providing rich pickings for waders. Specifically Turnstones, Redshanks (both pictures here) and Oystercatchers. They were using the restored metal cage groyne as a roosting spot and flying backwards and forwards to feed on the seaweed just below the prom wall.

In the evening we hosted the annual Strictly Final party and were joined by H, D and SJ. Some great dancing even if there was no doubt who was going to win, even before it started. A good evening, with an interesting chat about AI after the dancing had finished.
