Thumbs up

I’m having a quiet weekend. Last week I felt my mood was going a bit high, so I wanted to damp it down before it went off the scale. This may be due to coming off lithium which is classed as a ‘mood stabiliser.’
   Last evening in an attempt to open an impossible package, I nearly cut the top of my thumb off with my Swiss army knife. It bled profusely until I got two plasters on it bound tight with sellotape. Unorthadox, but I didn’t want to bleed all over my new bed clothes. I’m glad to say it worked. So my quiet weekend has been a bit more eventful than I intended. My thumb is doing well.
