A visit to Forty Hall

This is Friday

This morning Mr MC and I visited Forty Hall to see the rooms dressed for Christmas.  We haven't been at this time of year since 2018 (see Extras collage) and although the rooms that we were allowed in were lovely, we were just a tad disappointed.  The rooms were not as 'dressed' as they had been in 2018 and we were not allowed upstairs to see the more modern rooms showing various 20th century Christmases.
The Cafe was also a little disappointing as although it appears to be much more efficient now, (under new ownership) all the charm of the previous cafe's  incarnation had gone and there was not a festive decoration in sight!
