The Third Sunday of Advent.
The Third Sunday of Advent.
The Feast Day of Maria Di Rosa. Nun. Born 1813, Brescia. Died 15th December 1855 Brescia. Patron Saint of Ancelle della carita, meaning Handmaids of Charity
Today is rainy, windy but milder. 9c but feels like 6c.
I lit the pink candle of our Advent wreath on our round table, for Guadete Sunday, symbolising joy. I don't leave them lit for long, because the cats can be unpredictable in where they explore and I wouldn't want them to be hurt. I use LED candles most of the time.
The lawn is saturated again. I was hesitant to let the cats into the garden but they were eager to enjoy the fresh air. Now, they are happily napping. Holly is in her cat fleece bed in the living room and Hunter is with Paul in the conservatory. Paul is doing the big weekend Crossword puzzle and he enjoys the challenge.
I went to deliver a Christmas card and donation to Happy Cats owner, Andy. Then a muddy walk to the Parish Church to collect the newsletter and gave some contributions for their foodbank.
I came home for my lunch.
I watched godtv and glimpsed Songs of Praise.
Now I am crocheting and watching The Kid who would be King. It has a link in a modern way, with the legend of King Arthur and Excalibur. I am a fan of all things Arthurian. The film is highly imaginative.
I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. Thanks for dropping by blip friends.
